‘60 Minutes’ to Air Nov. 12 Segment on Racing Reform

CBS will air a segment on horse racing reform during its “60 Minutes” television news program Nov. 12. It is scheduled to broadcast Sunday along with two other show segments scheduled from 7-8 p.m. ET. Correspondent Cecilia Vega will examine the wiretaps that helped successfully prosecute one of the biggest horse doping investigations in United States history. Lisa Lazarus, CEO of the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority, also spoke with Vega “to discuss the moment of reckoning and the sport’s future,” according to a “60 Minutes” press release.
